Site analysis and conceptualization: Composite map/Written inventory & bubble plan
This project entails performing a site analysis and developing a conceptual plan (bubble plan) for the property located at 14700 Harvey Mitchell Parkway in Bryan, Texas. The assignment involves creating a composite map that includes physical features like boundaries, slope analysis, drainage, and surrounding land uses. Additionally, a written inventory and site analysis are required to identify relevant physical, societal, environmental, and regulatory factors influencing the property's development potential. Based on these analyses, a conceptual land plan ("bubble plan") should be prepared, showcasing suitable land uses, access points, drainage, and circulation, with consideration for detention requirements. The final deliverables include the composite map, written analysis, and conceptual land plan, presented as a team in a brief presentation.
This project was part of the Development and the Environment class led by Professor Tim Early.
